The "Proper People" go inside the decaying opulence of the Baker Hotel, a 1920's style brownstone landmark in Mineral Wells, Texas. Opened in 1929 as a haven for tourists seeking the therapeutic properties of Mineral Water, the hotel fell on hard times in the 1960's, before finally closing down for good in 1972. What remains of something that big, old, and rotten? Only one way to find out- enjoy!

Ever wonder what the Baker Hotel would have looked like if it hadn't been abandoned? The nearby Arlington Hotel is still open, and shared a lot of design and architectural elements with the now-defunct Baker hotel. Check it out!
