Looks like a prison or something.
The Oban Minefield Control Tower was the central command for one of Scotland's largest anti-submarine minefields, able to control what ships entered safely, and which were blown to pieces. Today, it seems rather out of place.

Seaplane in the desert? Lol.
A PBY Catalina (postwar) that crashed in Saudi Arabia in 1960, and sits where it fell even today.

What can an ft protect? Ducks?
A French-made Renault FT tank, totally obsolete by 1940, stuck on a hill to guard a Fjord in Norway from the allies, essentially as a machine gun bunker. It sits there right where the German army left it.
