I saw a cut-away of an AK-47 at a gun show once. Lots of moving parts in guns. Cool gifs uturn.

Also, less technical, but still impressive....
American M2 .50 Caliber machine gun firing.
American M60 machine guns in use in Vietnam. The M60 drew a lot of inspiration (and power) from the German MG42 from World War Two, pictured below.
If I find more, I'll post more. These are rather cool in my opinion!
