The Canadians built a "permanent World's Fair" in Toronto called "Ontario Place" complete with some rather Disney-esque showcase rides. The largest of these rides was the "Wilderness Adventure", a flume ride that included animatronics, waterfalls, rapids, and other elements in a meandering course. It was shut down in 2012, and since then has been partially demolished as the city of Toronto and other developers eye up the space for other attractions. What remains has been left to rot where it stands, much of it fully accessible by the public on the still-open park lands. Jake from BrightSunFilms took his cameras to get a closer look- check it out!
