Once the World's largest coal-breaking machine, the St. Nicholas Coal Breaker lies abandoned and ruined in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania.

I was really curious about this one, and after looking at a couple photos, it turns out that first one does not do this place justice. It is absolutely enormous.

I found the Wikipedia page for this thing (HERE) and it's got some rather interesting history behind it. According to the page it was torn down earlier this year (2018) so it's all gone. Hard to imagine something that big can get torn down like it was never there.
