A woman mysteriously vanished on the northeastern shore of Jeju island, off the coast of South Korea, only to be found a week later at the opposite end of the island, a little more than 60 miles away.
It would seem an open-and-shut matter, she must have drowned and then the currents carried her around the island. However, investigators claim this is very unlikely, as the currents needed to take her body to where she was found are not present. Further, despite the island's waters being packed with fishing boats and commercial ferries, she was never spotted or reported- something that seems unlikely for a corpse that traveled as far as she did. Investigators are working on it, the mystery may yet be solved...
