Well, sort of. Sometime between 2009 and now, the ship came into possession of an Indonesian firm that was towing the vessel to Bangladesh so it could be scrapped by their extensive scrapping industry. Since the original story ran, Myanmar's navy found the towing ship, and discovered that they had cut the ship loose after bad weather threatened to sink both vessels. However, what will become of the derelict ship remains a mystery.
