So, a comedy channel I follow (which I think most of you do too) posted a more serious video looking into a "prank" video gone wrong.



The long story very short, the prank involved them shooting a gun at a book the guy was holding to "stop the bullet". According to reports, they used the biggest gun they could get their hands on, and she shot him from about a foot away. In what is apparently only a surprise to her, she killed him outright, and is expected to face about a decade in prison. The USA Today story can be found HERE.

A bit of follow-up info that has been released-

The book was, allegedly, a phone book.
The girlfriend shot him from roughly a foot away with the gun.
The gun was a .50 caliber Desert Eagle handgun (similar weapon pictured below)


Pictured: Not a peashooter.

The follow up story I read can be found HERE, but the tale only seems to get dumber and more sad the further you go.

As I understand it, their kid is with other family. The lady is pregnant, so we'll see how that plays out.
