Washington State, as well as it's neighbors Oregon and Canadian Province British Columbia have encountered an unnerving problem in recent weeks- an overabundance of dead whales. The 40-foot dead whales continue to wash up, and the Washington state is officially out of designated Whale disposal areas, and is now asking landowners with disused waterfront to donate it to the state so that dead whales can be dragged up and left to rot there as opposed to public beaches and parks where they'd be a nuisance. Despite not offering any financial incentive, people do seem to be lining up for it- though the articles don't state whether the people get to keep the bones that would be left behind.

I guess if I had some beach land in Washington, which is more rocky and cold than sandy and pleasant, I'd probably do it. If I got to keep the skeleton, I don't know what I'd do with it. I know they look awesome when they're hung from the ceiling, so that could be kinda cool. Again, assuming I own beach-front property in one of the most expensive states in America, I'd probably have a house big enough to house this thing too.
