As of today, 1.14.2020, the Windows 7 OS has received it's last patch. While the OS will still be "around" as virtually all OS'es are to some degree, it is sad to see something that was once the future finally slip into history. Windows 7 was, in my opinion, Microsoft's best OS of the post-XP era, and that includes Windows 10- Windows 7 was much easier to customize and control (especially in regards to your data!) than Windows 10 is today. I am sad to see it go.

I still remember when Windows 7 was the new OS. Crazy to think it is now going to dead soon.
