Following a brush with bankruptcy, department store chain Gordmans is once again on the ropes, and appears to be shuttering many of it's midwestern holdings, including the stores around me in Wisconsin and west into Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and so on.
It doesn't appear to be a bankruptcy measure, but more of a regional trimming- removing the far-flung portions of it's network, while focusing on the business' core areas which are now mostly in Texas and the surrounding areas.
