If you watched Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network in the early to mid 00's you probably saw this commercial, I know I saw it a LOT. Eventually, I did end up getting the Zoobooks subscription from this commercial and I still have the majority of them, but I don't ever remember getting the tiger poster or the stickers. Although, I did get the elephant bonus issue (which is one of the ones I still have).

Man, I haven't thought about Zoo Books in years! I remember seeing the commercials all the time in the 90's and early 2000's. My school gave every kid in my grade a Zoo Book back in 2003-ish, I got a the Flamingo one. I have no idea what might have happened to it though.

I remember my school library had hardcover (although, looking back they were probably library bound) editions of various Zoobooks and I use to borrow them and that would have been 2007-ish. I actually remember being unimpressed when the Zoobooks came in the mail because they were just magazines. Admittedly, that is part of the reason why I didn't take great care of em and why some are missing and some are in bad shape. But, some of the ones I still have are in good condition (including the bonus elephant issue) and I still like having them after all these years. An interesting piece of 00's nostalgia.

They were kind of disappointing compared to the commercials. Though a lot of stuff from that point was like that- the "hottest toy in America" Hover Disk springs to mind. I wonder how many of those are still out there?
