Mark Felton looks at one of Germany's first operational "heavy" tanks of World War Two, the Neubaufahrzeug. It was a multi-turreted beast bearing a slight resemblance to the later Panzer III and IV tanks. though somewhat larger. Ultimately the handful of vehicles produced did very little, but are an interesting glimpse into design doctrine, and what happens to strange vehicles when they're pressed into fighting. Enjoy!
