I think the season proved that replacing McCarthy was the right move, but that does leave a lot of questions about the state of the team now. I dunno, the Pack is good, but clearly good wasn't quite good enough this time around.

While that sucks in the short term for obvious reasons, long term what that says to me is that y'all are close. I mean last year when the Pack got destroyed by the 49ers they weren't even close.
But now that Rodgers has entered the Favre "will I or won't I" stage time will be of the essence.

Very true. I hope Rodgers stays with the Pack, he's been with us for about a decade now, and as you said, it's not like things are hopelessly broken here. Coaching is going to have to take a hard look at the state of the team though, hopefully they can find what's wrong and fix it.

I think they will. The NFC is weaker than the AFC (mainly because they don't have to play the Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl), so I think within the 2 next years the Packers should breakthrough and get to a Super Bowl barring either Rodgers retiring or significant injuries.
