The developer team and I had gotten together several weeks back to finally unify resources and roll out the uploader system. We had modified a few things from the previous uploader, but left virtually everything else alone as it had been since the system we had had before was pretty good. The only thing we really wanted to rebuild was the queue system, since that seemed to be the root of many of our most difficult problems.
Well, we were set to launch on the 29th of September, sometime in the evening... and that didn't happen. The system kept eating files. It was a nightmare. So, we reeled in it's capabilities, and let it loose for real, and the tests all looked good.
Then, we come to find that the queue system is converting EVERYTHING at once. It's all sorts of broken. Worst of all, the dev I need to work on it is the hardest one to get in touch with. Oh man, what fun this has been.
So, right now MetaJolt has a few videos that have trickled through, but a few are already corrupted and the uploader is backed up beyond 50 hours and I have no way to even stem the tide. It's quite the fiasco, but we'll make it through. We always do somehow.
