So, January 1st was a planned "raid" on one of the major meme aggregation subreddits (and the one that's arguably run the least competently) r/funny, which would involve an influx of last year's major kickoff meme Uganda Knuckles in new and old formats. People prepped for it, and regrettably, the mods at r/funny are banning people left right and center under the shrill cry of "brigading" which is kinda funny seeing as it's a meme that is itself, a meme. Ah well, no one has ever accused r/funny of having a sense of humor, and thus the memes are all spilling over onto the other subs which are enjoying the hell out of them.

No idea what Tumblr is doing. Something advertiser-friendly I'm sure.
