Country Time lemonade (a division of Kraft Foods Corporation) announced a rather novel new program recently called "Legal-ade", which offers reimbursement up to $300 to cover any citation or fine a child might incur in the event their startup lemonade stand is hit by bored law enforcement officials with nothing better to do. Citing incidents across America last year where law enforcement cracked down on "illegal" lemonade stands that didn't have commercial permits and other such nonsense, Country Time hopes to help "save" the lemonade stand business- and drum up some serious positive PR for their company at the same time.
