The Dow Jones Industrial Average, a common barometer of stock market health, growth, and potential, has just made a big change. Citing a changing and evolving economy, they have ousted longtime (since 1907) company General Electric, and replaced them with Walgreens, the drug store/convenience store chain. The story is

While the Dow Jones may be more "relevant" or "accurate" now, Walgreens doesn't build jet engines, jet parts, guns, bombs, tanks, electric generators, appliances, or giant robots.
