
There's something kinda somber about abandoned amusement parks. The idea that a commercial venture with the goal of making people, predominantly children, happy has faltered and failed is a rather sad notion. That many of the rides and attractions were unique, one-of-a-kind machines built during a snapshot of history that can't be replaced makes seeing things like this all the more depressing.
Even still, much like some other threads here dedicated to individual parks, there is a certain beauty to seeing these rides and attractions worn down and now being reclaimed by nature. Enjoy!
